Melanie Cleckner

Melanie D. Cleckner has worked as an associate attorney for the Law Office of Kathryn M. Kirsch since 2017. She practices in the area of Workers Compensation, Family Law, Real Estate and Estate Planning. Ms. Cleckner graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2006 and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and New York State. Ms. Cleckner is a member in good standing of the Erie County Bar Association.

Amanda Zafur

Amanda Zafur joins the Law Office of Kathryn M. Kirsch as an associate attorney in the areas of Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability. Ms. Zafur graduated from the SUNY at Buffalo Law School in 2012.

Janet Curry

Janet began her career as Judicial Assistant to Chief United States District Judge John T. Curtin after graduating from Niagara County Community College’s AAS Legal Secretarial program. She was awarded the Erie County Bar Association’s Special Service Award in 2007. Janet returned to Buffalo State College in the evening, graduating with a B.S. in Criminal Justice magna cum laude, and thereafter taking a lengthy hiatus from her studies while she and her husband raised their four children.
